Every show at Brandon Performing Arts is built by volunteers. No experience required — just show up, and we will teach you the rest.
Ways to Help
Theater takes far more people offstage than on. Here is where we always need hands.
Set Building & Painting
Build the worlds our audiences step into. Power tools optional, enthusiasm required.
Lighting & Sound
Run the board, focus the lights, and mix the mics for live performances.
Costumes & Props
Source, sew, and organize everything the cast wears and carries onstage.
Front of House
Greet audiences, take tickets, and run concessions on performance nights.
Backstage Crew
Move scenery, cue actors, and keep the show running from the wings.
Marketing & Photography
Shoot production photos, share our shows online, and help spread the word.
What to Expect
- No audition, no experience, and no long-term commitment required
- Volunteers are welcome from age 16 up (younger with a parent)
- Most roles need only a few hours during a production week
- We train you on everything — tools, boards, and backstage protocol
- Volunteers get complimentary tickets to the show they work on
