Detective Hercule Poirot
Jim is from a litter of puppies that was abandoned in the woods. Discovered and raised by a pack of squirrels, Jim learned the art of tree climbing at a very young age. Equipped with squirrel skills, Jim graduated to community theater where he excels at not winning MONTI awards.
Mitchell Perera
Monsieur Bouc
Mitchell Perera is thrilled to be aboard the Orient Express as Monsieur Bouc! Previous Macbeth & Cheese credits include Dial M for Murder, The Breakfast Club, and A Few Good Men, for which he received the 2025 Top Monti Award for Best Lead Actor in a Play. He also recently co-directed Prescription: Murder and is excited to return to the stage for another mystery!
Michele Elmore
Princess Dragomiroff
This is Michele’s first appearance with MacBeth & Cheese and she is very excited to be playing Princess Dragomiroff! She and her husband Mike are still relatively new to the Tampa area and enjoying the theatre and arts scene here. Michele has been on and around the stage for 53 years, in some form or fashion, with a slight 30-year gap for work and family, of which the couple share seven children. Michele returned to the stage at the behest of her husband while living in Europe, and she is grateful every day for it!
Hal Granholm
Head Waiter / Michel
Hal has been involved with community theater since 2010. He has acted, directed, taught, and written for theater for Village Players, Plant City Entertainment, MacBeth & Cheese, and Divine Madness, as well as teaching at the Tampa Bay HEAT homeschool co-op. This is his fifth show with MacBeth & Cheese.

Camille Hashem is pleased to appear in Agatha Christie’s Murder on the Orient Express as Samuel Ratchett. He is grateful for the opportunity to bring this compelling character to life and to share the stage with this talented company.

Anthony Young is delighted to appear as Colonel Arbuthnot in Agatha Christie’s Murder on the Orient Express. He is pleased to bring this steadfast Scottish military officer to life and thanks the production team and audience for their support.

Heather Horning is new to the MacBeth & Cheese stage, but is very happy to be here. You may recognize her from shows at The Missing Piece, Plant City Entertainment, and The Village Players. Thank you for the opportunity!
Julian Velazquez
Hector MacQueen
Julian has spent his days here and there and all about the rural theatres of Florida, meeting many and making memories. Throughout his time here at MacBeth & Cheese, he’s brought quite a few memorable moments to the stage. Most infamously, he starred as The Mad Hatter in M&C’s rendition of Alice in Wonderland, bringing lunacy and laughter to the performance. In another instance, he brought the nervous nerd that is Brian Johnson to life in The Breakfast Club. Now we see him as Hector MacQueen, taking a ride aboard the pride of the Wagon-Lit and caught in a cold case of Murder on the Orient Express.
Lianca Torres
Countess Andrenyi
Lianca has been in the community theater life for two years now. She’s been able to play four different roles, and for her first show ever she was balancing stage manager and tech. Her favorite roles so far have been Mel Granite in Parlor Story and Katie Burnett in Good Housekeeping, both by William McCleary. She is looking forward to her participation in Murder on the Orient Express as Countess Andrenyi.

This is Alexis’ third production with MacBeth & Cheese. She was in Murder on the Nile as Christina and in Alice’s Wonderland as a stage manager. She has been in many musicals and plays, including Jesus Christ Superstar, Sandy Toes and Salty Kisses, Classic Christmas, Legally Blonde, Hairspray, West Side Story, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Aida, and Les Misérables. She wants to thank Amy and CJ for casting her in this show!

Helen Hubbard
Jennifer Groff thanks God for creating her with a passion to entertain and reach others through the arts, for blessing her with a loving 18-year marriage to her friend and husband Kirk, and with five wonderfully unique adult children whom she adores: Caleb, Page, Wesley, Hannah, and Carmen. Like her character Helen, Jennifer is attracted to the spotlight like a moth to the flame. She is also dedicated to her family, like Helen, and will fight tooth and nail to protect them.
